Job summary

The Cigna Group is hiring an Operations Senior Supervisor for Fulfillment in St. Louis, MO. This role leads a team of technicians, drives safety, quality, and productivity, and partners with senior leadership to set standards and drive continuous improvement.

You will monitor prescription turnaround times, address staff concerns, and participate in cost control while ensuring service excellence and adherence to corporate values. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Relevant operations experience (pharmacy, warehouse, distribution, production, manufacturing, or engineering).
• Must be eligible to maintain Missouri Pharmacy Technician license.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to train and coach front-line staff; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lean or process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, track and monitor safety, quality, service and production standards.
• Monitor prescription turnaround time to meet internal standards and client guarantees.
• Assist senior leadership in cost monitoring to ensure cost-to-fill goals.
• Address staff concerns and operational, system, customer service, quality, and professional issues.
• Work in production as needed.
• Implement programs and process improvements to enhance customer service.
• Analyze operations and overall efficiencies of the pharmacy.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues.
• Represent pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings and projects.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
