Job summary

The Cigna Group, specifically Evernorth Health Services, is seeking an Operations Senior Supervisor to lead a team of technicians in St. Louis. You will drive safety, quality and production standards, oversee workflow, and help meet production goals.

The role requires hands-on leadership, process improvement, and collaboration with senior pharmacy leadership. Qualified candidates have relevant operations experience, a Missouri Pharmacy technician license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Relevantoperations experience (i.e., pharmacy, warehouse, distribution, production, manufacturing, or engineering).
• Must be eligible to maintain a Missouri Pharmacy technician license.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lean or process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions.
• Advanced problem-solving and cross-department collaboration.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule for peak times.
• Monitors daily operations and provides direction as required.
• Ongoing operational tasks up to 40% of time.
• Ensures projects are completed on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop, track and monitor safety, quality and production standards.
• Monitor prescription turnaround time to meet internal standards and client guarantees.
• Assist leadership in monitoring costs to ensure cost-to-fill goals.
• Address staff concerns and day-to-day operational, system, customer service, quality issues.
• Work in production as needed.
• Implement programs and process improvements to enhance service.
• Collaborate with leadership to analyze operations and efficiency.
• Escalate issues requiring higher degree of expertise.
• Represent pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings and projects.
• Handle other special projects and tasks as assigned.

Skills
