Job summary

Cavender's is seeking a Head Cashier to lead the front-end operations and deliver Best of the WEST customer service. You will greet customers, process purchases and returns with accuracy, train and coach cashiers, and ensure adherence to company standards across a fast-paced store environment.

In this role, you will help maintain a clean, organized sales floor, support store leadership, and promote store programs and promotions while maintaining safety and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash/electronic transactions.
• Train and coach associates while promoting a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end operations and deliver Best of the WEST customer service.
• Greet customers, engage during shopping, and thank them for their business.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions accurately.
• Train and coach cashiers on POS procedures and company policies.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor and stock merchandise according to standards.
• Support store leadership and assist with merchandising, price updates, and store tasks.
