Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Experience in logistics dispatch or scheduling is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft and logistics software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and independent judgment.
• Teamplayer with excellent written and oral communication.
• Positive attitude and adaptability in high-demand settings.

Responsibilities

• Partner with dispatchers and fleet managers to plan shipping operations.
• Develop daily operating plan focused on achieving KPIs.
• Evaluate plans for payload, on-time deliveries, and loaded miles.
• Collaborate daily with Scheduling Team Leader for growth opportunities.
• Adjust operating plans to maximize growth, efficiency, and safety.
• Solicit freight opportunities from customers and revise sourcing as needed.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and other departments.
• Manage day-to-day operations of up to 75 drivers.
• Coordinate maintenance with Terminal Managers and Lead Technicians.
