Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Previous logistics dispatch/scheduling experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Strong problem-solving skills under pressure with independent judgement.
• Ability to collaborate with staff and contractors across departments.
• Excellent written and oral communication and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily plans for movement of all freight in assigned area.
• Gather, monitor, and analyze inventories for forecasted customers.
• Confirm accurate retain and runout times while maximizing payload and on-time performance.
• Evaluate and adjust orders based on driver capacity and customer demands.
• Coordinate with Asset Specialists to update sourcing and daily operating plan.
• Communicate effectively with Load Planners, Scheduling Team Leaders, and external customers on service issues.
• Solicit new and existing customers for freight opportunities.
