Job summary

KAG SERVICES INC in Jacksonville, IL is seeking a Dispatch professional to execute a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area. The role includes managing daily driver schedules, planning deliveries to inventory-managed outlets, and receiving orders from suppliers and dealers.

You will provide frontline service to existing accounts, monitor communications, and enter loads into the dispatch system while coordinating with teammates to optimize routes and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of dispatching experience.
• Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries.
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers.
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets.
• Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors.
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts.
• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members.
• Monitor web portals for station inventories.
• Solicit freight from customers.
• Create loads in dispatch system.
• Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members.
• Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system).
