Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to execute daily movement plans for freight within an assigned area. The role focuses on assessing customer needs, scheduling drivers, and planning deliveries to retail outlets.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of dispatching experience, strong conflict resolution, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, customers, and team members. This is an on-site position based in Goshen, IN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of dispatching experience.
• Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries.
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers.
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets.
• Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors.
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts.
• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members.
• Monitor web portals for station inventories.
• Solicit freight from customers.
• Create loads in dispatch system.
• Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members.
• Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system).
