Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Sr Transportation Analyst in the US to optimize transportation costs and ensure accurate payments across the medical supply chain. You will lead freight invoice audits, drive improvements, and partner with Finance, Transportation, and Operations to maintain financial integrity.

The role requires experience with ERP systems, TMS platforms, and Excel, with 10% travel expected. This is a full-time remote-capable position headquartered in the Cardinal Health network with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, accounting, business administration or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in freight audit, transportation and logistics finance, accounts payable, or similar role in high-volume environment preferred.
• Experience with ERPs (SAP, Oracle), TMS platforms, or freight audit systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills – VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM/case management tools preferred.
• Travel expectations: 10%

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and refine SOPs for freight auditing and invoice aging.
• Ensure accurate freight audit in systems and audit approvals as needed.
• Ensure accurate GL coding and cost allocation; resolve billing discrepancies.
• Generate KPI reports on audit and payment activity; support month-end close.
• Manage carrier invoice disputes and provide guidance on resolution.
• Train team members on freight audit policies and system functionalities.
• Monitor payment system queues and resolve errors in collaboration with IT and Finance teams.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and drive transportation spend efficiency.
• Identify and implement process and system enhancements for continuous improvement.
• Report on KPIs and financial performance to support strategic goals.
