Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Sr Transportation Analyst to optimize transportation costs and ensure financial accuracy across its Medical supply chain. You will manage freight invoice audits, payments, and collaborate with Transportation, Warehouse Operations, Systems Support, and Finance to maintain financial integrity.

You will develop SOPs, resolve complex billing issues, produce KPI insights, and lead continuous improvement efforts with a focus on audit accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 2+ years in Freight Audit or Transportation Finance in high-volume settings.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle ERP, TMS, or freight audit systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and refine SOPs for freight auditing and invoice aging.
• Ensure accurate freight audit and GL coding; resolve billing discrepancies.
• Generate KPI reports and support month-end close activities.
• Manage carrier invoice disputes and provide guidance to carriers.
• Mentor team members on freight audit policies and system use.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements.
• Lead cost savings initiatives and monitor KPIs for performance.
