Cardinal Health is seeking a Sr Transportation Analyst to optimize transportation spend and ensure accurate freight invoicing within our extensive medical supply chain. You will manage audits, payments and KPIs, collaborating with Transportation, Warehouse Operations, Systems Support, and Finance to drive improvements and maintain financial integrity.

The role emphasizes SOP development, issue resolution, and ongoing training to elevate the freight audit function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Freight Audit, Transportation and Logistics Finance, Accounts Payable, or similar roles in high-volume settings.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle ERP, TMS, freight audit systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM/case management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine SOPs for freight auditing, queue management, and invoice aging resolution.
• Audit freight in systems and coordinate changes with pay system owners as needed.
• Ensure accurate GL coding and cost allocation; resolve complex billing issues with carriers and internal teams.
• Generate KPI reports and support month-end close with insights for improvements.
• Manage carrier invoice disputes and provide guidance on resolution per contracts.
• Train and mentor team members on freight audit policies and system use.
• Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements to drive efficiency.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and monitor key performance indicators.
