Job summary
Cardinal Health is seeking a Sr Transportation Analyst to optimize transportation costs and ensure financial accuracy across our medical supply chain. You will focus on freight invoice auditing, payment processes, and collaboration with Transportation, Warehouse Operations, Systems Support, and Finance to drive operational excellence.
You will develop SOPs, monitor KPIs, resolve billing discrepancies, train teams, and lead cost‑saving initiatives to improve efficiency and support month‑end close
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting or related field.
- 2+ years in Freight Audit, Transportation or AP in high-volume env.
- Experience with SAP/Oracle ERP, TMS, or freight audit systems.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and refine SOPs for freight auditing and invoice aging.
- Ensure accurate freight audit and collaborate on system changes.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and balance due issues.
- Generate KPI reports and support month-end close activities.
- Resolve carrier disputes and provide invoicing guidance.
- Train team members on freight audit policies and tools.
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
- Lead cost-saving initiatives to optimize transportation spend.
- Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights for strategic improvement.
