Cardinal Health Sr Transportation Analyst in the United States seeks a detail-oriented professional to optimize freight costs and ensure financial accuracy across the Medical supply chain.

You will oversee freight invoice audit and payment processing using both third‑party and in‑house systems, driving continuous improvement and collaborating with Transportation, Warehouse Operations, Systems Support, and Finance to maintain financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Freight Audit, Transportation and Logistics Finance, Accounts Payable, or similar role.
• Experience working in SAP, Oracle, TMS platforms, or freight audit systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM/case management tools.
• Travel Expectations: 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine SOPs for freight auditing and invoice aging.
• Ensure accurate freight audit and ledger coding; audit pay system changes as needed.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve balance due issues with carriers and internal teams.
• Generate and analyze KPI reports on audit and payment activity; support month‑end close.
• Resolve carrier invoice disputes; provide guidance on actions needed to resolve.
• Train carriers on proper invoicing procedures to minimize errors.
• Monitor payment system queues; troubleshoot invoices in error status; document in Salesforce.
• Mentor team members on freight audit policies and system functionalities.
• Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements; drive improvements.
• Lead cost savings initiatives and monitor transportation spend.
• Report on operational and financial KPIs; provide actionable insights.
