Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Sr Transportation Analyst to optimize freight costs and ensure financial accuracy across its medical supply chain. You will lead audit and payment processes, partner with Transportation, Warehouse Operations, and Finance, and drive continuous improvement to cut costs and improve efficiencies.

You will develop SOPs, mentor staff, and analyze KPIs to support close activities and strategic goals. This role offers remote work options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years in freight audit, transportation finance, accounts payable, or similar.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERPs and TMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine SOPs for freight auditing and invoice resolution.
• Audit freight activity and ensure proper ledger coding and cost allocation.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve balance due issues with carriers.
• Generate KPI reports and support month-end close.
• Manage carrier invoice disputes and provide guidance on corrective actions.
• Train teams on invoicing procedures and system use.
• Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and monitor KPIs for performance goals.
