Job summary

DoorDash USA is seeking a Senior Associate to lead day-to-day financial reporting and the monthly close for our New Verticals business. You’ll partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and cross-functional teams to ensure reports are accurate, timely, and enhanced by automation.

You’ll build complex financial models, investigate discrepancies, and push for process improvements, including AI-powered tools, as the team expands and takes on broader responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in FP&A or finance with recurring close ownership.
• Experience identifying and resolving data or reporting discrepancies.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets with complex models.
• Experience writing SQL queries or using AI tools for data validation.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and weekly reporting for New Verticals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools used by the Finance team.
• Partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Help modernize recurring reporting with AI-powered tools to increase efficiency.
• Grow on a foundational team with room to take on more scope as you gain expertise.
