DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate for the New Verticals Finance team to own monthly close, weekly reporting, and cross‑team planning. You’ll partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and business units to keep financial reporting accurate and timely while building automation and process improvements.

In this role you’ll develop financial models, investigate discrepancies, and help scale recurring processes with AI tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial reporting, investment banking, or similar analytical finance role.
• Track record of identifying and resolving data or reporting discrepancies independently.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to drive a process or project to a deadline.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, including building and maintaining complex financial models.
• Experience writing SQL queries or using AI tools to investigate and validate financial data.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and weekly reporting process for New Verticals, ensuring data ties out accurately and on time.
• Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools used by the Finance team weekly.
• Partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve reporting discrepancies.
• Help modernize recurring reporting processes, including opportunities to use AI-powered tools to increase efficiency.
• Play a foundational role on a growing team with room to take on more scope.
