DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate on the New Verticals Finance team to lead the monthly close, weekly reviews, and cross-team planning for the New Verticals business. You will own recurring reporting, build financial models, and partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and business teams to ensure accurate, on-time financial data.

This role emphasizes automation, process improvements, and growth opportunities under a Manager within the New Verticals Finance group in Finance & Strategy.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial reporting, investment banking, or similar analytical finance role.
• Ability to own recurring reporting or close processes.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets for building complex financial models.
• Experience writing SQL queries or using AI tools to investigate data.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and weekly reporting process for New Verticals.
• Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools used by the Finance team.
• Partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and business teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Help modernize reporting processes and explore AI-powered automation.
• Grow with the team as you gain expertise in the business.
