Job summary

DoorDash is hiring a Senior Associate to lead day-to-day financial reporting and closing for its New Verticals business in the United States. You will own recurring cycles, develop models, and partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and business teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

This role emphasizes automation, process improvements, and building scalable financial tools. A strong track record in FP&A or corporate finance, plus advanced Excel/Sheets skills, is essential for success

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FP&A or related analytical finance experience with day-to-day ownership of a recurring reporting or close process.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve data or reporting discrepancies independently.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to drive processes or projects to a deadline.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets with complex financial models.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and weekly reporting process for New Verticals, ensuring data is accurate and timely.
• Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools used by the Finance team.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Data Engineering, and business teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Help modernize recurring reporting processes and explore AI-powered tooling to boost efficiency.
• Play a foundational role on a growing team with opportunities to take on more scope as you gain expertise.
