DoorDash is hiring a Senior Associate in Tempe to lead day-to-day financial reporting for New Verticals. You’ll own monthly closes, weekly reviews, and cross-team planning, partnering with Accounting and Data Engineering to keep numbers accurate and timely.

This role emphasizes automation and process improvements, with room to grow within a growing team. You’ll report to a Manager on the New Verticals Finance team, bringing 4+ years in FP&A or related fields, strong Excel/Sheets modeling, and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or similar analytical finance roles.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve data or reporting discrepancies independently.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to drive processes to deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets with complex financial models.
• Experience writing SQL queries or using AI tools to investigate/validate data.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and weekly reporting process for New Verticals, ensuring data ties out on time.
• Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools used by the Finance team.
• Partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Modernize recurring reporting processes, including AI-powered tooling opportunities.
• Grow with the team and take on more scope as you gain expertise.
