Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate on the New Verticals Finance team to lead day-to-day financial reporting, monthly close, and cross-team planning for areas beyond restaurants. Qualifications

• 4+ years in FP&A or related finance role with ownership of recurring reporting or close process.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve data or reporting discrepancies independently.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to drive processes or projects to deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for complex financial models.
• Experience writing SQL queries or using AI tools to validate data.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and weekly reporting process for New Verticals, ensuring data ties out accurately and on time.
• Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools used by the Finance team.
• Partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and cross-functional business teams to resolve reporting discrepancies.
• Help modernize recurring reporting processes, including AI-powered efficiencies.
• Play a foundational role on a growing team, with opportunities to take on more scope.
