Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Associate for the US Marketplace Finance & Strategy team to own P&L reporting, planning, and investment management. You will translate performance into leadership-ready narratives and partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with strategy, product, analytics, and finance to evaluate investment requests, forecast long-range growth, and help scale reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of strategic/finance experience in a high-growth tech sector.
• Experience influencing partners at all levels within an organization.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills to size opportunities and build business cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn).

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze key financial performance drivers for reporting, forecasting, and planning.
• Translate performance inputs into clear leadership narratives with actionable recommendations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to close gaps to goals and reflect investments in plans.
• Evaluate investment requests and ensure alignment in forecasts and plans.
• Support long-range planning and growth vs profitability via analytical methods.
• Improve, automate, and scale reporting and planning processes.
