ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our fast-paced FP&A team focused on transportation initiatives.

You will forecast, analyze variances, and prepare board-ready material while partnering with the Transportation group to drive profitable growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop bottoms-up forecasts, enhance ship-margin analysis, and deliver monthly/quarterly financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field.
• 3PL or transportation FP&A experience required.
• 3–5 years of FP&A or related experience.
• Hybrid schedule in our Chicago office.
• Excellent financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements.

Responsabilités

• Complete thorough analysis on transportation initiatives each month and communicate key performance drivers and variances to plan to senior management.
• Collaborate with partners to strategize and report on weekly performance related to Transportation; provide timely outlook on shifts in ship costs and margin.
• Manage relationships with Transportation team to build bottoms up forecasts and identify risks & opportunities.
• Support development and implementation of models for new strategic transportation initiatives.
• Prepare the annual operating plan with the Transportation team and convert it into the financial budget.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting presentations for investors and the board highlighting KPIs and variances.
