ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced finance team focusing on transportation initiatives. You will forecast, analyze variances, and prepare performance reporting to support profitable growth and strategic decisions.

You will partner with the FP&A team to enhance margin analysis and contribute to investor communications. The role reports to the FP&A Manager and requires a hybrid work schedule in our Chicago office, with opportunities to influence company-wide

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related degree.
• 3PL or relevant experience in Transportation.
• 3-5 years of FP&A or related field.
• Able to work a hybrid schedule in our Chicago office.
• Excellent financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex concepts.
• High comfort level with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite, Smartview, SQL, PowerBI, and Power Query preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Complete thorough analysis on transportation initiatives monthly and communicate key performance drivers and variances to plan to senior management.
• Collaborate with partners to report on weekly transportation performance and margins, with timely outlooks on cost shifts.
• Manage relationships with Transportation team to build bottoms-up forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
• Support development and implementation of models and processes for new strategic transportation initiatives.
• Prepare the annual operating plan with Transportation for plans and targets and convert to budget.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting presentations for investors and the board.
• Provide insightful study of key operational metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders.
