ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team supporting transportation initiatives. The role will forecast, analyze variances, create operational performance reports, and prepare board materials.

The SFA will collaborate with Transportation and FP&A to enhance ship margin analysis and forecasting, building bottoms-up forecasts and guiding cost decisions. A hybrid schedule in Chicago is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field.
• 3PL or relevant experience in Transportation.
• 3-5 years of FP&A experience or another related field.
• Excellent financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with NetSuite, Power BI, SQL is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyze transportation initiatives monthly and report KPIs to senior management.
• Collaborate with partners to report on weekly Transportation performance and costs.
• Manage relationships with Transportation team to build bottoms up forecasts and identify risks/opportunities.
• Support development and implementation of models for new transportation initiatives.
• Prepare annual operating plan with Transportation team and convert to budget.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reporting presentations for investors and the board.
• Provide margin analysis and communicate findings to business partners.
• Develop and improve models and procedures with FP&A.
• Automate and improve existing files and processes.
• Drive strategic improvements with management.
• Network with stakeholders to align objectives.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
