ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the fast-paced FP&A team, supporting transportation initiatives, preparing forecasts, variance analyses, and board materials.

You will partner with Finance and Transportation to improve margin analysis and forecasting, and drive key strategic projects across the function. The role reports to the FP&A Manager and requires strong modeling, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A or related field.
• 3PL or relevant experience in Transportation.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in our Chicago office.
• Excellent financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Complete thorough analysis on transportation initiatives each month and communicate key performance drivers to senior management.
• Collaborate with partners to report on weekly performance related to Transportation and margins.
• Manage relationships with Transportation team to build bottoms up forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
• Support development of models and processes for new strategic transportation initiatives.
• Prepare the annual operating plan with the Transportation team and convert it into the financial budget.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting presentations for investors and the board.
