Job summary

Ulta Beauty seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with business leaders, guiding forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to drive data-based decisions. You will own core processes, deliver actionable insights, and support strategic initiatives across the organization.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, rigorous analysis, and presentation of financial data to stakeholders, with six days/month in Bolingbrook, IL offices.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (Accounting/Finance/Statistics/Math)
• 5+ yrs. relevant work experience or equivalent combination
• Highly analytical with strong technical and strategic thinking
• Background in compiling data, creating queries, and replicable reports; Power BI experience is a plus
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

Responsibilities

• Close/Forecast/Budget Management: manage close, variance analysis between forecasted and actual results
• Lead development of financial forecasts with stakeholders; assess risks and opportunities
• Own and evolve financial reporting to deliver timely KPI insights
• Provide financial business support: communicate recommendations to drive profitability
• Analyze profitability and financial hurdles to support strategic initiatives
• Ensure investment and capital allocation decisions maximize enterprise returns
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting tools
• Lead ad hoc analyses to support business cases and investments
• This role requires six (6) days per month in the Bolingbrook, IL office.
