Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Bolingbrook, IL, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with business leaders, drive forecasting and budgeting, and deliver actionable insights. You’ll own international reporting, support investment decisions, and streamline financial processes across our global footprint.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong Excel/analytical skills, and the ability to present data to partners. Office presence 6 days/month is expected.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (Accounting/Finance/Statistics/Math).
• 5+ yrs. relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Highly analytical with strong technical and strategic thinking skills.
• Background in compiling data, creating queries, and replicable reports. Power BI experience is a plus.
• Solid problem analysis skills to assess, research, interpret, and analyze complex data.
• Intellectual curiosity and out-of-the-box thinking to deliver analysis and creative solutions.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• High proficiency and ability to compile data, develop canned reports, and create and analyze spreadsheets.
• Effectively prioritize and manage assignments with time-sensitive deadlines.
• Extremely strong skill set in Excel.
• PowerPoint experience with the ability to present financial data to internal business partners.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Prior budgeting and forecasting experience preferred.
• Experience in Finance in the retail industry is a plus.
• This role requires six (6) days per month in the Bolingbrook, IL office.

Responsibilities

• Close/Forecast/Budget Management: manage the close, forecasts, and budgets across acquisitions, joint ventures, franchises, and international overhead.
• Financial Reporting: own international reporting processes and provide KPI insights across models and overhead.
• Financial Business Support: identify opportunities to streamline international financial processes and enhance forecasting tools.
• Analysis: lead ad hoc analyses to support business case development, investment decisions, and performance management.
