Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking an Inventory Analyst to optimize inventory levels across assigned brands. You will partner with Planners and Merchants to analyze data, monitor stock, and drive opportunities to meet financial and strategic goals.

Responsibilities include end-to-end product flow, purchase orders based on forecasts for replenishment, supporting decisions with analytics, and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure fill rate and on-time delivery while exceeding KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in inventory, planning, merchandising, or supply chain
• Forecasting system experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders, using data to influence
• Ability to work with large data sets to identify trends and insights
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking
• MS Office proficiency with strong Excel; SAP or JDA a plus
• Strong problem solving, retail math, and analytical skills
• Ability to adapt to change with a positive attitude
• Teamwork mindset and collaboration in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Contribute to inventory strategy development with Planner
• Manage end-to-end product flow for designated brands to meet financial/strategic objectives
• Place POs based on forecasts for replenishment, advertising, events, and promotions; review/adjust as needed
• Support decisions with analytics/insights to optimize sales and productivity
• Maintain vendor relationships for fill rate, on-time delivery, and omni-channel stock
• Drive sales, margins, inventory turn, and in-stock levels to exceed KPIs
• Update/Review forecasts weekly in forecasting/replenishment system
• Track product arrivals and escalate issues as needed
