Ulta Beauty in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Financial Analyst I to support FP&A activities and monthly/weekly reporting. This entry-level role offers growth through hands-on budgeting, forecasting, and analytics within a dynamic retail finance team.

You will collaborate with cross-functional leadership to develop financial plans, manage overhead analysis, and contribute to ad-hoc analyses that drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI experience preferred.
• SAP or BI systems knowledge is a plus.
• Background in compiling data, creating queries and replicable reports.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with curiosity and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Reporting: lead quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily reporting as necessary and communicate impacts to leadership.
• Monthly Forecast Management: develop and execute financial plans with cross-functional partners.
• Month-end Closure Support: assist monthly close with expense forecasts and variance explanations.
• Annual Budget Planning: support budget planning and long-term planning with partners.
• Ad-hoc Analytics: support data gathering, consolidation, and insights.
• Continuous Improvement: identify and implement process improvements and reporting enhancements.
• Planning & Prioritizing: develop systems to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
