Ulta Beauty in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Financial Analyst I to support retail finance and the FP&A team. You'll help develop and execute business strategies, manage weekly reporting, and oversee overhead spend with guidance from leadership.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Power BI experience preferred but not required.
• SAP or Business Intelligence systems knowledge is a plus.
• Background in compiling data, creating queries and replicable reports.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter and intellectually curious.
• Willingness to work in Bolingbrook corporate office as needed (6 days/month).

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily reporting and communicate impacts to leadership.
• Develop and execute financial plans in partnership with cross-functional partners.
• Support the monthly close process with expense forecasts and variance explanations.
• Assist with annual budget planning and multi-year long-term planning initiatives.
• Perform ad-hoc analytics to answer strategic questions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reports.
• Support DE&I initiatives and an inclusive workplace.
• Maintain accountability and plan-prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand overhead impacts.
