Job summary

Neural Earth is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Underwriter to join our Revenue team in the United States. You will sit inside carrier books, run Prometheus against exposure, and explain divergences to Chief Actuaries while owning the account and the commercial argument.

You will embed in complex insurer portfolios, requiring 6–9 years of carrier-side experience, fluency with Touchstone, RMS or AIR, and readiness to travel ~40% to engage with clients.

Qualifications

• 6 to 9 years inside a carrier, reinsurer, or MGA: pricing actuary, underwriting manager, cat modeling lead, or portfolio manager.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite within carrier or reinsurer context (Florida wind, California wildfire, Texas hail).
• Draft memos diagnosing loss ratio divergences and recommend actions.
• Articulate account rationale and negotiate with senior buyers.
• Bridge insights from model analyses to product roadmap with engineering and executive teams.
