ANV Insurance is seeking a Senior Underwriter for DIC/Earthquake to manage a profitable portfolio and drive underwriting strategy in the Western U.S. You will work with brokers, analyze complex property data, and set terms and pricing within delegated authority.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of commercial property underwriting with DIC/Earthquake expertise, familiarity with RMS/Verisk, and strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of commercial property underwriting experience, with DIC/Earthquake focus.
• Strong knowledge of western U.S. earthquake exposures and catastrophe risk management.
• Experience underwriting layered property programs and complex schedules.
• Familiarity with catastrophe modeling platforms (RMS/Verisk or equivalent).
• Experience with non-admitted/E&S markets and delegated underwriting authority preferred.

Aufgaben

• Underwrite new and renewal DIC/Earthquake accounts within delegated authority.
• Analyze property schedules, COPE data, catastrophe model outputs and engineering info to assess risk quality.
• Determine pricing, terms, deductibles, and capacity based on risk and portfolio strategy.
• Utilize catastrophe modeling tools to evaluate accumulations and manage exposure.
• Maintain compliance with underwriting guidelines, carrier agreements, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain broker relationships through meetings, conferences, and ongoing discussions.
• Collaborate with distribution, actuarial, claims, catastrophe analytics, and operations teams.
