Neural Earth is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Underwriter to sit inside carrier books, run Prometheus against exposure, and explain divergences to a Chief Actuary. This practitioner seat carries commercial authority and ownership of the account, the technical argument, and the numbers.

You will report to the Head of Revenue while collaborating with the CEO to secure revenue and shape how Neural Earth engages the market. This is highly technical and high impact work.

Qualifications

• 6 to 9 years inside a carrier, reinsurer, or MGA: pricing actuary, underwriting manager, cat modeling lead, or portfolio manager.
• Personal ownership of a loss ratio, a rate filing, or a treaty renewal.
• Practitioner fluency in Touchstone, RMS, or AIR.
• A real network of 15+ Chief Actuaries, Chief Underwriting Officers, or Heads of Cat Modeling.
• Ability to travel approximately 40%.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite alongside the customer and embed in carrier or reinsurer books.
• Author memos diagnosing loss ratio divergences and recommending actions.
• Create new category and defend commercial justification with buyers.
• Turn insights from the book into the product roadmap with engineering/CEO access.
• Diagnose divergences clearly and speak to what is right or wrong.
