Wayne Farms LLC in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a multi-shift maintenance team, ensuring safe operations and regulatory compliance across USDA, GMP, and OSHA standards.

You will drive preventive maintenance, prioritize work, and collaborate with Engineering, QA and Accounting on improvements while mentoring staff and enforcing SOPs to sustain high productivity.

Formación

• Three+ years of progressive maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Five+ years in food/protein industry preferred.
• Three+ years managing a large multi-shift team.
• Knowledge of food processing systems, SPC and CAD.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (USDA, GMP, OSHA).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage a large maintenance team over multiple shifts.
• Establish and maintain the preventive maintenance program.
• Prioritize work orders and schedule repairs to minimize disruption.
• Supervise department operations, controlling downtime and costs.
• Manage the department budget and identify cost savings.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Engineering, QA on improvements.
• Establish and enforce SOPs for maintenance in the plant.
• Mentor and train employees; administer performance actions.
