Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in North Carolina is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to direct daily sanitation activities, ensure clean production lines, and maintain compliance with GMP, USDA, and FDA guidelines across the facility.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with QA, and drive safety and sanitation programs while enforcing policies and preparing for audits. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and hands-on problem-solving in a poultry processing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment, poultry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated three years’ leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their interactions and potential hazards; familiarity with GMP and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily sanitation activities to meet GMP, USDA and FDA guidelines on production lines and facility.
• Partners with QA to ensure a food-safe, sanitary environment and USDA requirements.
• Enforces safety regulatory standards (OSHA, HACCP) and mentors staff for development and feedback.
