Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a large maintenance team in a high-demand food processing facility in North Carolina. You will oversee preventative maintenance, safety programs, and regulatory compliance while minimizing downtime and costs.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance leadership in manufacturing, experience with food processing systems, SPC and CAD, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years progressive maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Five years' experience in food or protein industry preferred.
• Experience managing a large team across multiple shifts.
• Knowledge of food processing systems, SPC and CAD.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a large maintenance team over multiple shifts.
• Establish and maintain the preventative maintenance program.
• Coordinate work orders, repairs, and installations to minimize downtime.
• Oversee department budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, USDA, GMP, OSHA standards.
