Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in North Carolina seeks a Poultry Processing Supervisor to lead production lines and departments, ensuring adherence to HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, USDA and OSHA standards.

You will supervise up to 100 employees, optimize throughput, coach staff, enforce safety, and partner with Quality Assurance to maintain a sanitary, food-safe operation in a fast-paced plant.

This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail and the ability to work night shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree with relevant coursework preferred.
• Experience leading teams in manufacturing or poultry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department by establishing procedures and adjusting to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports (attendance, yields) are completed accurately.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce repeat deficiencies.
• Lead or participate in process improvements with metrics monitoring.
