Bart & Associates, Inc. in Suitland, Maryland is seeking a Top-Secret Senior FOIA Analyst to support a federal government contract. You will conduct document-level declassification reviews across ADR, MDR, FRUS, FOIA, and SR under EO 13526.

Qualified candidates have 5 years of DoD declassification experience or 2 years on Joint Staff; must possess a final Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and complete DOE course. This role is based in Suitland, MD and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences required; other disciplines may be accepted with relevant declassification work.
Minimum 5 years of experience conducting DoD declassification reviews in ADR, MDR, FRUS, FOIA or SR; or 2 years on Joint Staff with experience in each process.

Responsibilities

Conduct line-by-line, document-level declassification reviews across ADR, MDR, FRUS, FOIA, and SR in line with EO 13526 and guidance.
Process high-level, short-suspense Special Review (SPR) requests from Congress, DoD GC, and other external agencies.
Assist with internal FOIA and MDR document searches and provide recommended responses with supporting rationale.
Generate timely, accurate reports concerning records reviewed by the Declassification Branch.
Archive completed declassification actions into the Joint Staff electronic archiving repository within 5 business days, maintaining 99% quality.
Maintain, update, and ensure accuracy of Declassification Branch databases; provide guidance to junior analysts.
