Amentum seeks a Junior Declassification Review Analyst in Springfield, VA to support government clients on a team of Declassification Review Analysts. You will provide initial declassification review recommendations to a Senior Analyst with final determinations by a Government Declassification Review Analyst.

Training includes paid two-week certification at the Springfield site. Requirements include an active Top Secret clearance, a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, and strong written

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret US Government Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent Military experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively – both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, reading comprehension, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, work in a team environment and adjust to established work patterns and processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial declassification reviews in support of Government agency.
• Analyze unclassified and classified documents to determine the appropriate action per EO 13526.
• Demonstrate understanding of document markings including classification markings.
• Provide recommendations on documents for release, referral to other agencies, and exemptions from automatic declassification.
• Recognize possible nuclear weapons and intelligence information.
• Handle boxes and documents safely and maintain integrity of all items.
