Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC in Suitland, Maryland seeks a Top Secret Senior FOIA Analyst to support a federal government contract. The role focuses on document-level declassification reviews across ADR, MDR, FRUS, FOIA and SR, with ASC-level guidance and external agency coordination.

Qualified candidates will hold a TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a social sciences degree, and at least five years in DoD declassification reviews or equivalent joint staff experience.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of Executive Order 13526 and FOIA provisions.
• Familiar with Joint Staff structure, mission, and equities.
• Completion of the DOE Historical Records and Restricted Data Reviewer course.

Responsibilities

• Conduct line-by-line, document-level declassification reviews across ADR, MDR, FRUS, FOIA, and SR per EO 13526 and guidance.
• Process high-level Special Review requests from Congress, DoD GC, and external agencies.
• Assist with internal FOIA and MDR searches and provide recommended responses with rationale.
• Generate timely, accurate reports on records reviewed by the Declassification Branch.
• Archive actions into the Joint Staff repository within 5 business days, maintaining 99% quality.
• Maintain Declassification Branch databases and provide QA support to junior analysts.
