Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced software professional to own the development and qualification of ECLSS software for the crewed Lunar Lander. You will contribute to validation, testing, and integration efforts alongside the ECLS subsystem team.

The role requires advanced knowledge of real-time, embedded software, and DO-178C processes, with a focus on autonomy and flight software for human-rated space systems.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, verification, and validation.
• Proficient in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and Python.
• Experience with real-time and embedded software.
• Autonomy or flight software experience; DO-178C knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and qualification of software applications for ECLSS.
• Own formal validation and verification of ECLSS software applications.
• Support ECLSS model maturity, qualification, validation efforts with the ECLS team.
• Support ECLSS component testing including hardware/software integration.
• Support development and verification of other crew systems on the human rated Lunar Lander.
