Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a National Dispatcher to oversee dispatch operations for fleet repairs and maintenance. This national role coordinates across markets, ensuring high-quality service, efficient scheduling, and strong vendor collaboration. Overnight shifts are scheduled 4:00 PM to 10:00 AM, with potential overtime as needed.

You will model best practices, support teammates, and uphold Cox Fleet standards while coordinating with customers and internal partners to deliver timely service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field (dispatching, service scheduling, or logistics coordination).
• Working knowledge of fleet maintenance operations and transportation logistics

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service events and dispatch to meet client needs.
• Manage lifecycle of preventative maintenance, towing and emergency service events.
• Assign work to technicians with KPI-focused timing in mind
• Monitor open events and communicate delays or service concerns to customers and leadership
• Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced dispatch team members
• Ensure documentation and compliance across systems
