Job summary

Siemens in Houston, TX is seeking a Service Senior Sales Executive to support our Service Agreements within Smart Buildings. You will drive orders for fire alarm and life safety services in large facilities, developing strategic plans and maintaining customer relationships with a focus on on-site engagement.

You will spend substantial time consulting with customers, forecasting opportunities, and traveling as needed to grow the business and ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of sales/account management/business development within commercial fire alarm or related industries.
• Experience selling service agreements to multiple levels of a customer's organization.
• Verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be 21+ and have a valid driver's license; able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Achieve new orders, bookings and profit goals against quota.
• Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities and forecast orders.
• Understand marketplace, competitors, customers, and key influencers across the region.
• Develop a regional growth plan and identify new business opportunities.
• Act as a consultant to customer levels to optimize building safety services.
• Attend industry events and build a network of contacts for Siemens.
• Spend at least 50% of time in customer-facing activities on site.
• Travel overnight ~10% for training and business development.
