Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Solutions Senior Sales Executive to drive growth in the Rolling Meadows/greater Chicago area within our commercial Smart Buildings Total Fire Alarm & Life Safety Solutions team.

The role focuses on developing and managing contractor, consultant, authority having jurisdiction, developer, and end-user relationships, pursuing opportunities, and executing sophisticated deals within Siemens guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years experience in end-to-end sales in commercial fire alarm/life safety or related industries.
• Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities

• Understand market, customers, and decision influencers across the region and stay informed on market trends.
• Develop a vertical market/account plan and identify new opportunities with end-user customers.
• Maintain a qualified funnel and achieve new orders and profit goals.
• Collaborate with operations and internal teams to ensure excellent customer outcomes.
• Attend industry events and build a network of Siemens contacts.
