Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect to join our US-based team. You will own the end-to-end technical presales process, design scalable fintech solutions, and serve as the technical authority in customer engagements, spanning mobile money, digital wallets, and payments ecosystems.

You will translate deep technical capabilities into business value for executives, craft compelling proposals, and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure what is sold can be built and scaled.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, software engineering, or deeply technical fintech roles in the US.
• Proven track record leading architecture-driven engagements in fintech/payments.
• Strong hands-on understanding of fintech platforms, API design, microservices, and cloud architectures.
• Fluency in payments fundamentals: processing, security, data integration, scalability.
• Ability to translate deep technical work into business value for executives.
• Excellent design, writing, and RFP response skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical presales process from discovery to proposals and exec presentations.
• Lead as the technical authority in customer engagements and articulate architecture fit.
• Architect tailored, scalable solutions across mobile money, wallets and payments ecosystems.
• Design integration patterns addressing security, compliance, and interoperability in US financial services.
• Create compelling narratives tying technical capability to business value for engineers and leadership.
• Produce high-quality proposals, blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Handover to delivery with cross-functional collaboration to ensure buildable solutions.
• Monitor US fintech trends and feed insights into solution strategy.
• Build reusable assets like reference architectures and demo environments.
• Mentor peers to uplift presales and partner-led engagements.
