Job summary

Ericsson Mobile Financial Services is seeking a technically exceptional Senior Presales Solution Architect to join our growing team in the United States. You will translate fintech architecture into winning solutions across mobile money, digital wallets, and payment platforms.

You will own the end-to-end presales process, lead technical engagements, design scalable architectures, craft blueprints and proposals, and collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, software engineering, or other deeply technical roles within US fintech
• Proven track record leading complex fintech/payments engagements with end-to-end design decisions
• Hands-on fintech platform knowledge: mobile money, digital payments, wallet infra, API design, microservices, cloud architectures
• Fluency in payments fundamentals: security, data integration, scalability, resilience
• Ability to move between deep technical work and executive level business framing
• Excellent design, writing, presentation, and RFP response skills
• Collaborative, customer-first mindset with credibility with tech and business stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in a US-based role while staying connected to a global org
• Established US fintech network is a plus; willingness to travel
• Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process from discovery to executive presentations
• Lead technical engagements as the authority for optimal architectural fit
• Architect tailored, scalable solutions across mobile money, wallets, payments, APIs, and use cases
• Design integration architectures addressing security, compliance, scalability, and interoperability
• Build solution narratives linking technical depth to business value for engineers and executives
• Produce technical proposals, blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses
• Drive clean handovers to delivery with cross-functional teams
• Stay ahead of US fintech trends, regulations, and competitive landscape
• Create reusable assets like reference architectures and demo environments
• Mentor and uplift presales depth across teams and partner engagements
