Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related business discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience, including prior experience in banking and Fintech.
• Demonstrated ability to construct complex and advanced Excel models (samples of work will be considered).
• Working knowledge of banking economics, including deposit pricing, earnings credit, and the drivers of net interest margin.
• Familiarity with Banking as a Service (BaaS) and payments business models.
• Familiarity with sponsor bank economics.
• Demonstrated experience in forecasting and in the analysis of unit economics and partner level performance data.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and prioritize multiple projects, tasks, or workflows.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence business partners and executive management.
• Advanced technical computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Own Fintech profitability strategy, including methodology, thresholds, and return requirements for evaluating Fintech relationships.
• Develop and maintain financial models and projections for client profitability and executive recommendations.
• Prepare pricing recommendations for new Fintech clients (fee structures, pricing, terms).
• Lead Finance review during initial client evaluation and present to Fintech Oversight Committee.
• Communicate strategy and pricing requirements to Fintech team during client discussions and renegotiations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key Fintech personnel to align with financial objectives.
• Participate in client meetings to communicate financial requirements and support pricing discussions.
• Collaborate with Head of Business Development and Chief Deposit Officer on Fintech strategy.
• Serve as liaison for Fintech Finance with vendors, auditors, sponsor bank counterparts, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure data needed for unit economics and partner performance is accurate and timely.
• Represent Finance in Liquidity and Capital Committee, Finance Committee, ALCO, Management Pricing Committee, and Fintech Oversight Committee.
• Provide strategic financial input on balance sheet, liquidity, and capital considerations related to Fintech deposits and revenue.
• Maintain Fintech profitability models and profitability reports.
• Maintain monthly Fintech noninterest income report and monthly new Fintech clients report.
• Develop and maintain Fintech budgeting assumptions and rolling 24-month forecasts.
• Perform special projects related to financial planning and analysis as required.
• Provide guidance and review of work by Fintech and Finance personnel.
