Job summary

Ericsson Mobile Financial Services is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect to lead technical presales engagements in the US, designing scalable fintech architectures and articulating solutions to win business. Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, software engineering, or other deeply technical roles within fintech or financial services in the US.
• Proven track record leading complex, architecture-driven engagements in fintech or payments.
• Hands-on understanding of fintech platforms: mobile money, digital wallets, API design, microservices, cloud architectures.
• Strong grasp of payments: transaction processing, security, data integration, scalability, resilience.
• Ability to translate deep tech into business value for executives.
• Excellent design, writing, presentation, and RFP response skills.
• Collaborative, customer-first mindset and credibility with technical/business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a US-based role with global teams.
• Existing US fintech network is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process from discovery to design, demos, proposals and executive presentations.
• Act as the lead technical authority in customer engagements.
• Architect tailored solutions spanning mobile money, digital wallets, payments, APIs, and inclusion use cases.
• Design integration architectures addressing security, compliance, scalability, and interoperability in US financial services.
• Build narratives connecting technical capability to business value for engineering teams and executives.
• Produce high-quality technical proposals, blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Ensure smooth handovers to delivery with cross-functional collaboration.
• Stay ahead of US fintech trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscape.
• Create reusable assets like reference architectures and demo environments.
• Mentor colleagues to grow solution architecture depth across presales.
