Job summary

Ericsson Mobile Financial Services seeks a Senior Presales Solution Architect to join our growing US team. This role requires deep architectural expertise and the ability to translate technical depth into winning solutions across mobile money, digital wallets, and payment platforms.

You will lead end-to-end presales, craft secure, scalable architectures, and build compelling technical narratives for executives and engineers. Travel as needed to engage clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, software engineering, or other deeply technical roles within fintech or financial services technology organizations in the US.
• Proven track record of leading complex, architecture-driven engagements in fintech or payments with end-to-end ownership.
• Hands-on understanding of fintech platforms including mobile money, digital payments, wallets, APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures.
• Fluency in payments fundamentals: processing, security, data integration, scalability, and resilience.
• Ability to translate deep technical work into business value for executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process from discovery to executive presentations.
• Act as the lead technical authority in customer engagements and propose architecture fit.
• Architect tailored, scalable solutions across mobile money, wallets, payments, and APIs.
• Design integration patterns addressing security, compliance, and scalability.
• Create compelling narratives linking technical capability to business value.
• Produce technical proposals, blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Handover to delivery and coordinate with sales, product, and implementation teams.
• Monitor US fintech trends and feed insights into strategy.
• Build reusable assets such as reference architectures and demo environments.
• Mentor colleagues and support partner-led engagements.
