AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide engineering teams on cloud costs and optimization. The role requires overlap with APAC business hours, including PST/CST alignment, and the ability to triage spend questions via Slack.

Responsibilities include proactive cost reviews with APAC teams, root-cause analyses of anomalies, monthly forecasting alignment, and documenting findings in Jira. Remote-friendly with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Experience investigating spend anomalies and writing root-cause analyses.
• Partner-facing; advise R&D/engineering teams.
• Forecasting cloud costs; align forecasts.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring.
• Cost modeling and tracking investments/projects.
• Document investigations in Jira and support in Slack.
• Strong written and verbal stakeholder communication.
• Availability to cover APAC hours with PST/CST overlap.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary cost advisor for R&D teams via Slack and other channels.
• Review monthly cloud spending with APAC teams; surface cost opportunities.
• Investigate spend anomalies and document root causes; propose optimizations.
• Participate in monthly forecasting with R&D teams and align forecasts.
• Contribute to showback reporting with cost drivers and spending trends.
• Support cost awareness and maintain wiki documentation.
• Model team cost projections and respond to stakeholder inquiries.
