Job summary
Salesforce, Inc. is seeking an experienced Individual Contributor Service Manager for Financial Systems to own end-to-end stability and performance of enterprise financial applications.
You will collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Tax, and Treasury to translate business needs into technical solutions, lead a global systems engineering team, and drive incident response and SOX-compliant controls.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering & operations
- Operational background in IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks
- Experience with Finance processes (Record to Report, Source to Pay, Plan to Perform)
- Experience leading a global team across time zones
- Experience with integrations (MuleSoft, Workday) and API support
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end stability, performance, and compliance of enterprise financial systems (Workday Financials, Vertex, Blackline, Revpro)
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Tax, Treasury to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers to ensure high availability and KPI targets
- Drive incident management and root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Coordinate UAT for bugs and enhancements; ensure SOX compliance and data privacy controls
